The Porsche 993 Turbo is one of the most well regarded Porsches of all time by the car enthusiast communities. It is the last air cooled Turbo offered by Porsche and is often considered the fan favorite by purists. Regardless, this car is one of the most stunning vehicles Porsche has made to date. Due to its limited production numbers and widespread admiration, the value of the 993 Turbo has held steady.
It's interesting to note that the design of the 993 Turbo was altered from it's previous generation Porsche, only to use bits designed from project 989, a four-door sedan that never made it to production. The outcome was an aggressively widened rear wheel arch that improved handling, stability and ride quality, not to mention improving the overall aesthetics of the car.
